Ma weekend

Had a crazy weekend. Not that it was filled with partays or stuff like that. It's because I've been coughing so badly, like every single mins. Most of the time i was filled with dizziness . Sigh. But before i fell sick, I managed to have some fun on friday nite :)

Friday :
I went out with a few friends to a bar, Brisbane Hotel to have a drink. Aww, I love that place. The man got really good taste :P We spent an hour & half at the bar as it closed at 12am. Then we moved over to a cafe to continue the nite. I personally dislike the cafe as the food, service and coffee are terribly sucks. The only reason that drives me to be there is that they are open 247. Sigh

Saturday:
This was the first day I felt sick. Woke up with heavy dizziness and flu and cough. Ugghh. I felt horrible. Managed to got a few things done before heading over to the man's place. The man organized a dinner at his place with his friends and he was the chef for the night. Amazing food he can cook. Love the desserts especially. Banana tart tatin!! After dinner, we had PS3 games. The guys love the wrestling game which I have no idea how to play it. lol. Had a korean movie with the man after all the guests left.

Sunday:
The man prepared brekky as usual. I'm seriously spoiled by him. The omelettes was so good that it's even better than those i had at restaurant :D Went for church service first at his catholic church then headed over to my church for the speaker Barbara Chan. Then we went to a cafe at Mt.Lawley for lunch. Good food again it was. Afterthat, city trip to get a recipe book for his dad. And I think we spent nearly an hour at the cooking books' session. He got the jamie oliver's book for his dad and i got myself 2 new recipe books. Yay!! During the journey back from city to his place, i was so so tired that i fell asleep in the car. Continued my rest once i reached his place. Lol. Went for badminton and I couldn't fight the dizziness and the cough so ended up sitting down and watched the others. Had an early rest that night and I couldn't resist the drowsiness by the cough syrup as well.


Phew.. tat's my weekend.. Cant wait for sunday. My parents will be coming to perth!!! :D:D:D

Homesick

The title tells the story.
I'm having homesick.
A terrible one which I haven't had for so long or I never had it before.
I have this sudden urge of rushing to the airport and buy myself a closest flight and get myself back in malaysia, back in the arms of my family.
Wish I have the mum, dad and brother with me in our own home.

Singing session after 3 months

Had a random karaoke session which was planned an hour or two beforehand.
And because we planned it last-minutes, many friends couldn't make it to come. :P
Four of us spent 3 hours singing and cam whoring of cos.
Sore throat right after it. :P

Transformers

Went to catch the new movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen with the man.
Before the movie started, there's this lil incident that got me into the happy sappy mood the whole nite :D After we got our tickets, the man headed towards the snacks counter and asked if i want anything. The first thing that came into my mind was COKE!. Luckily the man allowed since i've been having a not-so-good day he said. Then i felt like having choc top ice-cream too. And he said yes again. Half way queuing, i saw this guy holding a cup with the transformers' photo printed on it. You know like how those movie promotions thingy which you'll have them on the popcorn box and your drinks. So i saw it and i was like "Ahhh.. So cute.." then i kept searching for the cup at the counter. But I did not say anything bout i want it. When it's time for the man to place order, he who normally won't get anything else other than a bottle of mineral water ordered a Transformers' popcorn combo just to get me the cup!! He paid 17bucks for those. Ahhh..Im so happy.. Okay, it might sounds childish or nothing to you.. but it means a lot to me.. And i brought the cup back home, sipping the coke real slow :D

Anyway, the movie was real good stuff. All the massive stunts, the fighting scene, the transformations, the computer effects and even the funny jokes.. It was awesome. But maybe it's just me, i found that it was a bit too fast during the fighting scenes. Sometimes i just couldn't identify who is fighting with who. Probably as the man said 'Guys are always better at these'. Not forget to mention, Megan Fox is really hot in the movie.. I really like the movie and i think i can watch it again.. Heee..

Used to love Bumblebee but now Optimus Prime is the Hero!

Ohana my family

Another Ohana's gathering.
For those who don't know, Ohana means family.
It's the name for our ex-cell group.
So it was a steamboat dinner for the Ohanas and also a farewell for Galvin the Garfield.
A time for each of us to catch up with one another, to let each other knows that we're always here for one another and hee.. to introduce a new member to the family :)

It's funny..
that both of us often check on recipe books whenever we're free..
He often looks for new recipe online. He can spend hourss watching jamie oliver's video and start planning when to make it..
while i always check out his recipe books and spend hourss reading through it too.. :)
It's even funnier when two of us drool over the photos or recipes.
Bet anyone will laugh out loud if they see us. lol.



Nothing beats being with your bestie..
understand you so well that he can guess what you're gonna do next, what you're having in mind, what's you're gonna say next and your answers to his questions. :)
(but then, no surprises will succeed as he can guess all ma plans :(' )

Rise & Shine

Finally.... Exams are over for everyone..
Time for housemates bonding!!
It's been a long while since the four of us spend time together.
So we decided to have brekky since we can't make it for dinner.
Only this time, we have a guest joining us :)

A simple brekky prepared by the four of us.
I couldn't recall if we ever been in the kitchen cooking in the same time.
I was smiling inside my heart when I see us preparing the brekky.
And it got even better throughout the brekky where the girls getting to know him and he getting to know us, and all the conversations, jokes, laughter & I love the pressie giving time the most.

After brekky, us two went out to the city. Second last monday that we'll get to spend time together as he'll be working full time soon :(' Anyway, it was a wonderful day. Glad to hear that everyone is out having fun with family & friends and enjoying the sunshine :) Went for shopping (him, not me :) ) & a great lunch. Thou it was overpriced as it's situated among all the branded shops, it's a pleasant cafe with good food and and must mentioned their dessert.. slurps slurps..





Aww.. it's a lovely day today.. Can't express how happy I am :D
Wish I could have more mondays like today :P

The restaurant has a good ambiance.. It's spacious and classy.

Thou the food might be appealing, none of them taste good actually.. Seriously none. The seafood are not clean properly and limited choices. The salad aren't good too which is quite disappointing. Then the hot food were the worst. The beef, lamb and pork doesn't taste like how it suppose to be and most of it are over-cooked. :S Throughout the whole nite, the only thing tat I think is good was the dark chocolate sauce. lol.

Just got home from dinner..
Had a wonderful night with good company, nice ambiance & awesome food.
Glad that he's into good food as i do.
willing to try out new recipe and share with me.
and being a gentleman, patient with me, always prepare things ahead for me and make sure i enjoyed the food.

The only turn down was we dint even get a photo together.
Something's wrong. LOL
Will make sure i do take photo of us next time. :P

Back Dated

My blog were full of dust. So sorry :(
I'm actually done with exam last wednesday but caught up with heaps of stuff to do. Wonder why am i more busy after exam period compare with uni days. lol

Anyways, celebrated 3 bdays so far in june alone. My hsemates' bday & Luke's bday.. Scratching my head so often to come up with ideas to surprise my hsemates & also ideas for cakes. In the end, I prepared ice-cream cake for CY & cheesecake for Jac :)

Had a busy weekend.. Catch up with some friends which I haven't meet in years.. we went for italian cuisine :)

Woke up at 6am on saturday morning & went to the market to get ingredients. Eugene wanted to prepare an authentic chinese meal for his housemates, Mic & Rhiannon & their family as they love chinese food. Yet everytime they havta visit the restaurant for it. so i was helping him with the cooking.. We prepared 8 dishes all together from the entree to dessert. Started with his best dumplings, chicken soup, sweet & sour pork, sizzling tofu, assorted vege & tofu claypot, grilled fish with salted vege, stir-fry black-bean beef and lastly, red bean pancake. I loveee the red bean pancake.. It tasted so good!!! :) Too bad we dint manage to take any photos tat nite. We were kind of out of schedule and the guests were waiting for us to finish our cookings & start the dinner. Hence, no time for pictures :S But! It was a great nite.. Got to meet Mic's parents & sister and also Rhi's mummy. We have a mixture of culture.. Italian, Indian & Chinese.. LOL. Glad that they enjoyed the food and actually they love it. Mic's sis, Nat did takeaway some of the food for her fiance, Ben :D:D



There's much more to updates. But guess that's all for now. I'm really tired, spent 1.5hours working out in the gym today. Time to zzzz... Nites to all.
