Pure Bliss Pt 2

Continue of my birthday's celebration. After a good good night at karaoke and a real bad hangover in the morning, I got myself ready for second round of celebration. And we had it in a real special way. Picnic at King's Park! where everyone had fun seeing me doing all the running, walking and guessing. Well, glad that all of them had fun :D

If you've been following me, you should know he's my brother by now. My favourite person I would say. He baked me a mouth-watering chocolate cheesecake for my b'day. Everyone complimented it thou he said it's not good enough. Bro, I love it!

So treasure hunt it was..I was given clues that lead to my present..

To get there, I have to decode the clues that will bring to the next person, and the last person would be holding my present.

The Sabo part would be they hiding or given me the wrong directions or even ran away from me when they saw me coming to them.

I am really thrilled! This is a birthday like none before. It's the beautiful hearts that stirred me. No other words than 'THANK YOU' to express my gratitude. My birthday was a splendid one and I love every bits of it. Most of all, I love all of you my friends!

2 is better than 1..

It is a blessing to have a great friend to walk your life journey with. By this, I don't mean by just being part of my life, appear here and there once in a while. What i meant is go through the journey with me, knows me so well that I can communicate heart to heart with, encourage and support me whenever I need it, cry and laugh together, get crazy and do all silly stuff, be serious and study together, work hard together, build dreams together and achieve it together.

Two is definitely better than one. And this person needs not to be a opposite sex or a boyfriend. A girlfriend can do better than that!

Gong Xi Fa Cai

Happy Chinese New Year to ya all..

Another Chinese New Year away from home.. Had no celebration or house-visiting sort of things since we are in Australia which made me upset :S However, being a traditional Chinese, I would never missed the most significant reunion dinner. So, a simple reunion dinner for 9 of us.


Preparation started around 4 in the noon where we had all the washing, cutting or chopping..

YanHwa, Jaclyn, myself, my brother & Dayong. I'm the one wearing purple shirt. Forgive me for not looking at the camera as I was looking extremely auntie at that time!! DaYong, my bro & YanHwa were our kitchen hands.

They asked if there's anything they could help so I gave them the important task. Make the dumplings!!!

We had dumplings in different shapes as some of them seems fascinated with it..

After 3 & 1/2 hours, reunion dinner was ready..

First and foremost, Yee Sang.. where I replaced raw fish with prawns as some of us doesn't take raw fish..

Time to dig in!!

I called it Pork Chop..

The must-have vegetarian dish..

Lotus root soup which I boiled for 3hours.. Tasted so rich and sweet with all the red dates..

This is just a small part of dumplings. We had steam dumplings, boiled dumplings and fried dumplings up for your preference :)

Tau-Yu-Bak.. A pork belly dish, taste fantastic but easy to prepare..

And the pork meat ball which the ingredients were actually leftover from the dumplings' ingredients..
