January 12th tuesday afternoon, the worst earthquake in 200 years with 7.0 in magnitude strucked Hiati, Carribean city of Port-Au-Prince. While there has not been an official count, an estimation of casualties range from 100,000 to 150,000. All sorts of fundraising been kicking off and rescue teams from different countries has rushed to help Haitians.
A Haitian woman covered in rubble after the earthquake causing widespread damage..A view of the badly damaged presidential palace..Residents sleep in the street...
People searched for survivors under the rubble of a collapsed building..A view of a damaged neighborhood in the Canape-Vert area..
Everything going on in Haiti is so hard to stomach. As I couldn't be there to help, at least I could do some humble and small offering for the victims.
Please help Haiti!! To make a donation, click on these websites.. Doctors Without Borders and Haiti Children.
My prayers go out to the people of Haiti.
